Centro de Análisis Genéticos C.A.G.T. is a laboratory promoted by CITOGEN, SL, which started its activity in 1994. The lab was created by a group of researchers from the clinical area. It was the first private laboratory specialized in Human Genetics in Spain.

C.A.G.T. offers a wide range of services in Clinical and Forensic Genetics and Genetic Counseling. The quality of our services is guaranteed by national and international controls.

The company has decided to continue innovation in its processes and implementation of the newest technologies. Our R+D+i department develops applications allowing to continually incorporate new diagnostic strategies. We also collaborate on research projects with public and private entities.

C.A.G.T. staff has great scientific knowledge in genetic, clinical and forensic science and technical expertise supported by continuous training.

The company has consolidated its work in the area of ​​genetics and is currently the genetic laboratory with a largest catalog services in the country and the only one of its kind in the autonomous community of Aragon, which has given us the confidence of our customers:

• Private entities: Insurance companies and private general laboratories nationwide, Medical specialists (gynecology, pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, nutrition), Patient Associations, etc...

The highly qualified team enables this company to carry out new technological challenges, applied to different sectors (food, veterinary, etc.) and it has started its internationalization process.

CITOGEN, S.L. is inscribed within European biotech companies, accredited by regional and national organizations that verify its technological and innovative activity: Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Aragón (www.ceeiaragon.es) y Genoma España (www.gen-es.org).

The laboratory is certified by D.G.A. (according to Decreto 237/1994) and complies with current regulations regarding protection Personal Data law (LO 15/99) needed by health centers.

Our constant participation in external quality controls, European and international (European Quality Assessment, European Molecular Genetics Quality Network, International Society of Forensic Genetics) ensure the adequacy of our procedures and the quality of our services.

Until 2007 the company has international accreditation UNE-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 evalualted by ENAC (Entidad Nacional de Acreditación) ensuring our System of Quality Management
